anya Shur was born and raised in Moscow, Russia.
She completed higher education in art at the Moscow Polygraphichesky Institute in 1974. After finishing college, Tanya worked at the “Obrazsovsky” Puppet Theater in Moscow, were she participated
in making puppets, their costumes
and scene sets.
